Banu Deniz Çetinkol was born in 1976 in Bandırma. She started her career in 1997 after graduating from Istanbul Technical University with a degree in Civil Engineering. Four years later, during her MBA studies, she realized her inclination towards sales and marketing and encountered Hilti.
At Hilti, she progressed in her career in marketing, logistics, sales, and strategic development. With the experience gained from Sales Management and Strategic Marketing Management, she took on the role of Strategic Development Director where she shaped the 2017 strategy for Hilti Turkey. Subsequently, she became the Director of Marketing for Turkey & Central Asia and held this position while also relocating to South Africa. After spending two years there, she returned to Hilti Turkey as the General Manager. Currently, she is participating as a mentee in the 5th term of the Inter-Company Mentorship and Independent Board Membership Certificate Program at the Women on Boards Association.
Apart from her professional life, Çetinkol finds great pleasure in traveling with her family, studying human psychology and leadership, reading novels, and enjoying walks. Additionally, she holds an interest in plant cultivation techniques.
