In 1991, Bora Alci graduated from the Business Administration Department of Bogazici University and began his professional career as a product manager at Henkel Turyag in the detergent division. He played a role in establishing and subsequently managed the personal care and cosmetics department within the same company between 1995 and 1997.
Between 1997 and 1999, he worked as a project manager in Danone's water and beverage division. He was involved in the development of beverage products under the Danone brand as part of an international strategy team. From 1999 to 2001, he worked as a marketing manager at Turkcell. Since 2001, he has been involved in consultancy work.
In 2006, he founded the Argus Brand Consultancy and Research company. Offering consultancy services to several companies including Unilever, Telia Sonera, Coca-Cola, Enerjisa, Finansbank, Renault-Mais, Koton, and Pepsi-Lipton International. Under the umbrella of Argus, he led the development of Mind-Decoder®, the first research technique mapping Europe's subconscious, the customer experience journey research TEMP®, and Turkey's first and only innovation research, Innovation Clinic®. In early 2018, he restructured Argus into Argus Growth Agency - Turkey's first growth consultancy firm.
