Murat Helvaci pursued his undergraduate education in the Business Administration department at Bogazici University and commenced his professional journey in 2003 as a Field Sales Supervisor at Danone Turkey. Until 2011, he progressed through various roles within the sales department, focusing on field sales, modern channels, commercial marketing, and sales development.
In 2011, he joined Vodafone Turkey, undertaking successive positions such as Commercial Marketing Manager, Senior Sales Manager for Regions, Senior Commercial Marketing, and Retail Excellence Manager. In his final role, he led the establishment of agile digital sales channels and e-commerce channels within the company's framework for digital transformation.
Joining Şişecam at the beginning of 2018, he assumed the role of Sales Director for Paşabahçe Turkey. In this capacity, he managed the company's traditional channel operations, national chains, and multi-store operations in Turkey.
As of November 2019, Murat Helvacı joined the Eczacıbaşı family and assumed the role of Sales Director responsible for Turkey, Russia, and International Markets at Eczacıbaşı Building Group. Since January 2024, he has continued his role as Regional Director for Eczacıbaşı Building Materials - Middle East and Africa. Additionally, as of 2024, he has taken on the role of "Sales Network MENA Region Representation."
He is the recipient of the 2021 LiSA Leader of the Year award in the Construction and Building Category.
