Boğaçhan Atabay, born in Ankara in 1976, is a graduate of Bilkent University.
He started working in the family business at a young age, becoming involved in trade from that time. His professional career began in 2001 when he moved to Istanbul and became a Sales Inspector at Coca-Cola Beverages. During his six years at the same company, he had the opportunity to work in almost all channels of sales. Later, he joined British American Tobacco as the Turkey Chain Stores Manager. During this period, he played an active role in the privatization and integration process of Tekel and subsequently had the chance to manage a team of nearly 600 people. Following that, he took on senior sales and transformation roles at Frito-Lay and PepsiCo for six years. In 2015, he assumed the role of Sales Director at Danone Hayat.
In 2017, Bogachan Atabay took on the role of Chief Sales Officer (CSO) at Ajinomoto Turkey following the acquisition of Örgen Gıda from Yıldız Holding. After the complete acquisition of Kukre Gida in August 2017, he now oversees all sales and business development operations at Ajinomoto Turkey.
