Celal Ersan, born in Gaziantep in 1977, attended Gaziantep Anadolu High School and later graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Marmara University. He then went to the United States and completed a Finance and Management program at the University of South Alabama.
He was introduced to the business world at a young age in the family company in the automotive sector. After a one-year of international work experience, he joined the Petrol Ofisi family in 2004.
At Petrol Ofisi, in his initial role as Field Manager for Lubricants, he managed sales, dealers, and regions in various parts of Turkey for five years. Over the following four years, as the Overseas Sales Manager for Lubricants, he expanded Petrol Ofisi's lubricant exports to more than 40 countries. He then served for three years in Business Development Management. For seven years, he led Petrol Ofisi's maritime sales operations as the Senior Manager for Marine Sales, overseeing fuel and lubricant sales for 17 ships in both domestic and international markets. In the last year, he has been the Senior Manager for Wholesale Fuel Sales on the land side, overseeing the fuel supply and sales for significant commercial and industrial projects in Turkey.
Celal Ersan, a husband and father of two, emphasizes the importance of continuous learning and development in his professional life, believing that change and bravery are essential for growth.
He spent many years as a licensed basketball player and now has an interest in outdoor activities, particularly nature sports. Engaging in nature camps, hiking with his family, and traveling by boat are among his greatest hobbies.
