Biography

After graduating from Besiktas Ataturk Anatolian High School, Efe Basaran completed his studies in Electrical Engineering at Yıldız Technical University. Subsequently, he pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of New Brunswick in Canada and an MBA program at Bilgi University. He began his professional career in 2011 as an Export Sales Manager at Entes Elektronik. After being responsible for establishing and developing sales channels worldwide, he joined 3M in 2015. While at 3M, he held sales and marketing leadership roles in the Electrical & Electronics, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Products, and Health divisions. In February 2021, Başaran joined the DHL Express Turkiye team and assumed the role of Senior Director Sales responsible for leading the sales team in August of the same year.

Efe Başaran, who has a long history of professional sports, was a member of the Galatasaray Rowing Team for 9 years and served as captain for both Galatasaray and the Turkish Rowing National Team.
