Born on June 8, 1968, in Istanbul, Fuat Murat completed his education at Haydarpasa Technical High School and Marmara University's Faculty of Business Administration. He began his professional career at Çukurova Group in 1989. After working in various departments such as Finance, General Manager Assistantship, Human Resources, and Marketing, and completing language courses and HR training in the United States, he started his career at Borusan-Cat as a Sales Representative in 1994. He currently continues his career as an Executive Board Member in charge of the Construction Industry.
In his journey at Borusan-Cat, after three years as a Sales Representative, he founded Borusan-Cat Georgia, where he served as Sales Manager and Country Manager from 1997 to 2001. After returning to Turkey, he took on roles such as Sales and Marketing Manager, Izmir Regional Manager, Customer Support Director, and Field Sales Director. As part of a significant transformation, he became the General Manager of Borusan-Cat Turkiye in 2017, and since 2020, he has been an Executive Board Member responsible for six countries, continuing to work in line with Borusan-Cat's shared motto, "We create solutions for a better world."
With his personal motto of "Leadership Beyond Competence," reinforced by his membership in the Common Purpose Association, Fuat Murat strives to be beneficial to others. He is married and the father of three children.
