She was born in Mersin in 1986.
She completed her education there until university. She graduated from Mersin Anatolian High School. In 2004, she came to Istanbul for university education and started studying Business Administration in English at Marmara University. In 2010, she completed her master's degree in Production Management and Marketing at Marmara University.
With her graduation in 2008, she began her professional career as a Traditional Channel Sales Representative at Eczacıbaşı Consumer Products, where she later took on roles such as Chain Stores Sales Manager and Modern Channel Sales Manager after gaining experience in sales across all channels for 12 years. In 2021, she was appointed as the Commercial Marketing and Category Manager responsible for Paper, Personal Care, and Baby Care categories. During her tenure at Eczacıbaşı, she led projects focusing on commercial excellence, organizational transformation, equal opportunities in sales, and productivity.
As of September 2023, Gözde Taş Oktay joined Hayat Kimya as the Commercial Marketing Group Manager responsible for the Paper, Baby Care, Women's Care, and Home Care categories.
She is married and a mother to a daughter named Yaz.
