After graduating from Koç Private High School, he completed his degree in Environmental Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. Realizing that, like many Turkish youths, he had chosen the wrong profession due to the Turkish education system, he pursued an MBA education. After graduating from Koç University and SDA Bocconi, he worked for a consulting firm specializing in customer relationship management (CRM). In 2003, he took a leadership role in an innovative venture in the e-ticketing sector by bringing together CRM, event organization, marketing solutions, and e-commerce.
In 2006, he joined Goodyear, where he served in various marketing roles for eight years. He managed the "Strategic Brand and Product Portfolio" project as part of the restructuring of Goodyear Turkiye's field operation model, earning the "President Award" in 2009. He later led the same project for the Central Europe and Eastern Europe regions. In 2012 and beyond, he served as Marketing Manager, working on the development of new channel concepts and organizational changes.
In 2014, he joined Mars Turkiye as the Sales and Marketing Director for the Pet Food Category, taking on the responsibility of creating the long-term strategy and organization for the category. His connection with the pet food category began in this role.
In 2016, he managed the transformation of the field operation model as the Traditional Channel Sales Director. In 2017, as the Sales Director responsible for Turkiye in the Mars CEAB&Turkiye (Central Eurasia Belarus and Turkiye) region, he led the transition to a new business model in Turkiye. Under the new business model, positive transformations were realized in employee engagement, category priorities, channel and organizational structure, system integration, financial control, and more.
From 2020 to the present, he has been serving as the Regional Director responsible for Belarus, Turkiye, the Caucasus, and Moldova in the same region. Currently, he manages the 5-year strategic planning of Mars CEAB&Turkiye, leading in new investment countries, new categories, and the d-com channel.
He strives to lead in a supportive and friendly manner, focused on the ideals of all employees. He values collaborative teamwork based on mutual trust, setting goals and purposes first. Aware that he doesn't have all the answers, he is open to new experiences and continuous learning.
He is married with two daughters. He experiences every day that the managerial skills he gained in his professional life have zero impact at home.
