Rana Kaplan graduated from Kocaeli University's Faculty of Engineering. During the same period, she completed her Pedagogical Formation education at the Technical Education Faculty of the university. She began her career at Yapı ve Kredi Bankası, where she served in various departments for a total of 12 years. Alongside her banking duties, she held roles as an Instructor at Yapı Kredi Banking Academy, initially as a Trainer, then as a Manager Coach in the Institution's Internal Coaching Project, which she was one of the pioneers of. She actively participated in designing and developing Personal Development training programs.
Later, she worked as an instructor and consultant at the firm, "İs Kavramlari Danismanlik," (Business Concepts Consultancy) providing training and consultancy for 2 years. Within this framework, she delivered training sessions in several leading institutions in the sector such as Finansbank, Sandoz, Bausch&Lomb, İş Bankası CM, Turkish Bank, Colakoglu A.S. and subsequently Pirelli A.S. For the past 11 years, she has been involved in various private projects as an Instructor and Coach. Alongside implementing Corporate Coaching practices, she managed dozens of Social Responsibility Projects nationwide, impacting thousands of individuals. Her implemented social projects include works that have been "firsts" registered worldwide.
Rana Kaplan served as Project Leader for 2 years on the Projects Board of the International Coach Federation (ICF). She continues her roles as an Instructor and Coach individually and within corporate frameworks. Moreover, she conducts Leadership Seminars and Professional Coaching Training at universities and in several European countries, primarily in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. In 2019, she conducted Leadership Training at the European Union (EU) Brussels Parliament and received invitations to continue her presentations under this umbrella.
With the aim of consolidating her instructional experiences under one roof, Rana Kaplan established the RANAKAPLAN Academy in 2011. In 2019, she founded her second company, RANAKAPLAN Coaching Zentrum, in Germany. She is the recipient of the LiSA 2021 Leader of the Year award in the Service category.
