Solmazer began his professional career at the Volkswagen Doğuş Group between 1999 and 2000. In 2001, he held various positions at Danone Baby Nutrition Department, serving as National Chain Stores Manager, Sales Director, and Country Manager responsible for Egypt and Libya.
In October 2013, he worked as the Marketing Director for the Adult and Pediatric Nutrition Group at Abbott Laboratories. After serving as the General Manager of Chicco-Artasana Group in 2017, he has been serving as the Sales and Distribution Director responsible for domestic and international operations at Mey Diageo since 2018. Additionally, he is a board member of the Koruncuk Foundation (Turkey's Foundation for Children in Need of Protection).
