Sinem Tarhan, who graduated from Bilkent University in 1996, has over 25 years of diverse industry experience in leading FMCG and Retail companies.
She started her career at Kraft Jacobs in 1996 as Chain Stores Sales and progressed through various sales positions. Her career at Reckitt Benckiser began in 2000 as a Chain Stores Manager. Here, she not only managed customers but also led the company's "Go-to-Market Model" change. Joining PepsiCo-Frito Lay in the years 2002-2008, she started as National Chain Stores Manager and later expanded her responsibilities to become the Organized Channel Sales Manager. Due to sustainable growth, market share development, and team performance, she earned the global "Ring of Honor" award.
From 2008 to 2012, she held various commercial roles at Danone, including Organized Channel Sales Manager, Traditional Channel Sales Manager, Commercial Marketing, Sales Development, and Sales Operations Manager. In 2012, she joined Levi Strauss as Commercial Director for Turkiye and the Middle East. Afterward, she took on the position of Brand Sales Director for Levi's and Dockers, responsible for Turkiye and Greece. She received the "Best Country in Practice" award in the European Region.
In 2017, she became the General Manager at Coty Cosmetics Company, where she built her team from scratch and fundamentally changed the existing "Go-to-Market Model" without disrupting business results. She led various efficiency projects to maintain company profitability in a volatile economy.
As of 2021, in line with the globalization vision, Sinem Tarhan has taken on the role of Chief Commercial Officer at Flormar, which entered into a strategic partnership with Groupe Rocher. In this capacity, she is responsible for the retail and wholesale channels of the company in Turkiye.
