Tufan Tekin completed his undergraduate studies in the Business Department at Brock University. Having spent a total of 7 years abroad, including 1 year in England and 6 years in Canada, he has gained valuable international experience.
Over the years, he has worked as a sales professional at Prolinkmolds in Canada, as well as at Arcelik and Vestel in Turkiye, accumulating 12 years of experience in various sales projects. Currently, at Vestel, he holds the position of International Regional Sales Manager, overseeing sales operations in 78 countries. Tufan Tekin focuses on less developed and developing European non-EU markets, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Asia-Pacific regions. In addition to managing sales in these regions, his responsibilities include strategic business development, market analysis and research, market entry strategies, potential country and customer analyses, and the assessment of potential collaborations with companies.

During his university years, he held the position of President at the Brock Rotaract Club. Apart from his professional work, he values meeting with university students and regularly shares his experiences with them. As a member of the Izmir Golf Club, he participates in various tournaments representing the club. He is married to Seda Ozkaya Tekin and they have a dog named Par.
