Yilmaz Tokgoz commenced his career at Unilever in 2003 within the Customer Development department.
Between 2003 and 2018, Tokgoz held various roles including Field Sales, Customer Responsibility for National Chains, Manager of Local Chains, Category Operations Manager for Hair and Oral Care in Türkiye, National Chain Customer Management, Local Chain Channel Management for Algida, and Central Anatolian Region Manager responsible for Unilever's Home Care, Personal Care, and Food categories. In August 2018, he was appointed as the Category and Channel Development Director responsible for the Türkiye Food Category.
As of February 2021, he serves as the General Manager of Unilever Food Solutions.
He pursued his university education in the Food Engineering department at Ankara University, completed his master's degree in the same field, and graduated from the Bilkent University Executive MBA program in 2019.
Within Unilever, Tokgoz provides training as an internal instructor on Negotiation Techniques. After completing the Co-Active Coaching certification program, he also practices coaching.
He volunteers as a mentor for Lead Network (Leading Executives Advancing Diversity) in Türkiye and holds roles as a mentor in the Sales Network Community and Co-President of the Youth in Sales Network. Additionally, he is a member of the Advisory Board at Bilkent University's Business Faculty.
Yilmaz Tokgoz is married and a father to a daughter named Ela. He is the recipient of the LiSA 2021 Leader of the Year award in the Other Industries category.
