Biography

Born in Istanbul in 1976, B. Ege Ermec completed his education at Nişantaşı Anadolu High School and pursued his high school education in Switzerland before obtaining his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham in the UK.

Commencing his career in 1997, he initially held various responsibilities in sales departments within different companies in the telecommunications sector. Later, he transitioned to the fast-moving consumer goods industry as the Commercial Marketing Group Manager at Kraft Turkey, where he continues to build his career. After a brief period as the Modern Channel Sales Director at Uno Bread, he undertook roles such as Sales & Marketing Manager and Country Manager for Turkey at Agthia, a company based in the United Arab Emirates. His latest role was as the Export Group Director at the Abu Dhabi Headquarters.

In August 2017, Ege Ermec returned to Turkey and joined the Haribo family as the Sales Director. As of January 2022, he continues his career path as the Sales and Marketing Director for Haribo Turkey. Married and a father of one son, Ermec describes himself as a sports and sea enthusiast. He is also the recipient of the 2021 LiSA FMCG Food Category Leader of the Year award.
