Biography

Ozlem Kalkan, one of the first graduates of the Microelectronics Engineering department at Sabancı University, completed her Master's program in Telecommunications Engineering and Management Sciences at Sabancı University in 2005. In 2016, she also completed the Strategic Leadership program at Insead University. Beginning her professional career as a Value-Added Services Manager at Borusan Telekom during her master's studies, Ozlem Kalkan worked as the Marketing and Business Development Deputy General Manager at Teletek Telecommunications Services between 2005 and 2006, and at Grid Telecommunications Services between 2006 and 2008.

From 2008 to 2010, she served as the Business and Product Development Group Manager at Global Communication Services. Between 2010 and 2019, Özlem Kalkan held various positions within the Türk Telekom Group, including New Product Development Manager, Strategic Areas Manager, Strategic Business Partner Group Manager, Tivibu General Manager, and Director of Products and Services.

Joining the SabancıDx family in April 2019 as the Chief Strategy and Sales Officer (CSSO), Özlem Kalkan assumed the role of Sales and Product Management Deputy General Manager as of February 2020.

Throughout her career, she gained diverse experiences in marketing, business development, strategy, and sales in the technology sector. Despite her busy professional life, Özlem Kalkan continues to explore the world with her son Ata, born in 2012. She is passionate about yoga, regular exercise, and experiencing life through adventure sports. Ozlem Kalkan received the LiSA 2021 Technology Category Leader of the Year award.
